In our summer issue, we shared about what it would mean if the member assessment passed and how we would proceed if it didn’t. With the 2014 Unity People’s Convention complete, we are now clear that the two-thirds majority to pass the proposal was not received. So you might ask, “What is next?”

For the Unity Identity Program, it means continuing as usual. We will launch three groups a year with our upcoming launches in September 2014, February 2015 and July 2015. To find out more information, go to www.unity.org/branding. Here you can read about the program and the process to join. The process to join is simply to fill in the Ministry Partner Agreement, choose one of the two package options and a payment method, and send paperwork to Debbie Allen at Unity Worldwide Ministries, PO Box 610, Lees Summit MO 64063.

We have multiple layers of assistance for you as you walk this journey, which include the benefit of live support from the staff at the home office (Debbie Allen at 816.434.6831 or email at Debbie@unity.org). In addition, your ministry also has the support of the staff at MiPrintShop.com (our web-to-print partner) and the staff at OneEach Technologies (our website partner).

We also have a private resource page on our website to support you and your ministry team through the launch of your new look through the various aspects of your ministry. These areas include: Intention and Commitment, Mission/Vision/Values, Your Branding Team, Presenting Your New Identity to Your Community, Your Ministry’s Website, Your Ministry’s Signs, Info About Cultural Creatives, Presenting Your New Identity in Social Media, Advertising, Newsletters, Branding Your Bookstore and more.

We also host a private Facebook page where you can connect with ministry leaders in the program and learn about their ideas while sharing your own.

We’re now in the fourth year of the program with over 215 participants. People are hungry for a message such as ours and, with the new look, your ministry will be easily recognized and easier for people to find.  By joining the program, your ministry will benefit by having a cohesive look, professionally designed products and marketing tools to represent your ministry to the world. As more ministries join, the new logo is spreading worldwide and Unity is becoming a “household name.”
